An instrument made of ink

What if a drawing
could sing?

Draw a line across the page, then listen. Left to right becomes time; height becomes pitch. Every new line adds a voice. No musical training, no wrong notes, just a piece of paper that remembers how to sing.

Shape the sound

Each colored line is an independent voice. A blank part of the page makes silence; a long horizontal stroke repeats one note. A rising stroke climbs through the scale. The lines are quantized to make simple harmonies.

Borrow a sketch

1.Listen to a ready-made drawing, or press Clear for an empty page.
2.Draw a new line anywhere. Go left to right, high to low, or in spirals.
3.Change the instrument or scale and listen again. The ink stays; its voice changes.
