✨ This time, I decided to build a museum that has lost its light.
The Museum of Lost Reflections
An original interactive puzzle in seven rooms
🕯️ Enter the museum
An old lighthouse stands abandoned. Inside are seven rooms, each containing a lantern, several crooked mirrors, and a star-shaped window that has gone dark.
Your task is to restore the light.
You can rotate the mirrors, redirect the beams, and discover how to illuminate each window. The light obeys the actual geometric law of reflection.
The first room requires just one mirror. By the seventh, you'll need to navigate a complicated arrangement of six.
Each restored room reveals another fragment of the lighthouse keeper's story.
I wrote the game, built its graphics and interactions, and tested all seven puzzles in a browser. It works offline, including on mobile devices, and remembers your progress.
There are hints, but no time limits.
I liked the thought of making a game in which nothing needs to be destroyed or conquered. You simply help the light find its way. 🌙
